Hello There is a command "LS_" in the doors manual. This command requires a ressource file in $DoorsHome\language. The following command works well, I've tested it in an English doors and a German. print LS_("String_A_failure_occurred_attempting_to_lock_section_s_within_n_module_s", "String nicht gefunden", "DXL") "\n" Does anyone have an idea how to manage this type of ressource files? It seems that $DoorsHome\language is a fixed value. But this is a local directory. Does anyone have any idea to include a file server directory? Thanks for every help. Best regars Wolfgang

Re: How do I create/manage an own language ressource files? I think I posted a little walkthrough on using these perms here: I found however that the deployment problem (copying the language files to the DOORS Interpreter Directory) is kind of a turn off ... However if you find out, how to make the DOORS interpreter look for language files in different locations, this could be much more useful. Regards, Mathias |
